We collect and analyse statistics on fires in the UK.

  • Fire Statistics Monitors
    The Fire Statistics Monitors provide quarterly statistics on fires, casualties and false alarms attended by fire and rescue services in the United Kingdom.
  • Fire and Rescue Service Operational Statistics
    This annual bulletin contains statistics relating to the operational issues affecting fire and rescue services in England and Wales. It includes information on personnel, equality and diversity, health and safety, and operational activities.

We also carry out research relating to the operations and practices of the Fire and Rescue Service, and research in support of civil resilience policy.
