Table 563 on the average valuations of residential building land has not been updated. This is because the data underlying this table was taken from the Valuation Office Agency's Property Market Report.
During 2010, the Valuation Office Agency reduced the detail of the data available to only suburban sites of 0.5ha from the previous three categories of: small sites for less than five houses; bulk land in excess of two hectares and sites; and sites with planning permission for flats.
Local area data on these three types of site were used to produce the average weighted valuations presented in Table 563 and so it is no longer feasible to calculate these statistics.
The VOA Property Market Report continues to show estimates for suburban sites of 0.5ha in key areas in each government office region. See the January 2011 Property Market Report (external link) for details.
