Information for Survey users
This page links to a range of information that supports anyone wishing to make use of English Housing Survey data to conduct their own analysis or understand in detail how it is run and managed. It is a complex two stage survey and all users are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the technical background before undertaking any detailed work using the Survey's results.

Technical background
access to information on all aspects of the survey methodology including the sampling and grossing strategy; how the data is collected; how complex measures such as income energy efficiency and repair costs are derived. The questionnaires used are also available.

How we engage with users
we are committed to engaging with the wider user community. This page sets out our overall approach to communicating with external users and papers from the English Housing Survey Advisory Group which is our main forum where key external users and stakeholders provide input to the Survey's development.

sets out our strategy for handling any errors identified in the Survey results or data sets following release. A log of errors is provided
