This section contains information about statistical forms and a form timetable.
The Local Government Finance Statistics Division of the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) collects financial information from local authorities, mainly in England, although information on borrowing and investments is collected from all authorities in the UK.
The information is used for the purpose of informing Ministers involved in setting government policy and in the assessment of grants payable to authorities for carrying out their statutory functions. Aggregate data for all local authorities also go towards the make up of national accounts.

Most of the forms are now set up for A4 size paper and so printing should now be more convenient than before.
