Summary

In October 2009, the then Secretary of State issued an invitation to local authorities under the Sustainable Communities Act to submit proposals which they believed would improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of their local area. This document gives the Secretary of State's decisions on over 300 separate requests contained within the 199 proposals short-listed by the Local Government Association in December 2009.
