In its paper Laying the Foundations: A Housing Strategy for England the Government announced its intention to increase the caps on Right to Buy discounts, to encourage more tenants to take up the Right to Buy.

The consultation sets out our proposals for how this will be achieved and seeks views on the proposed mechanisms on a number of questions relating to the proposals (see Related publication below).

We are also seeking views on the draft Impact Assessment on the proposed changes to the Right to Buy.
