Summary

The Weekly Collection Support Scheme is a challenge fund which makes up to £250million available to support local authorities in delivering weekly collections of household waste and recycling. The fund is open to bids from English local authorities that wish to help authorities introduce, reinstate or retain weekly collections of household waste.

This prospectus contains the information that authorities will need to complete an outline bid.

Please note: Following feedback from the expressions of interest stage the outline bid form has been updated to include space for further financial and environmental details. A worked example for the environmental tool in the outline bid form and frequently asked questions are also available below.
