Summary

This report presents the findings of a study into the ventilation rate and indoor air quality in eight primary schools across England. Responsibility for the ventilation of schools premises has been transferred from the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to the Building Regulations Division of Communities and Local Government. The ventilation design of schools now falls under the control of Buildings Regulation Approved Document F.
