The 2007-2013 East Midlands ERDF Competitiveness Operational Programme, sets out the region's strategy and priorities for delivering ERDF funds for the period from 2007 to 2013. The Operational Programme has been approved by the European Commission.
The Programme's 2010 Interim Assessment Report is now available. The aim of this exercise was to assess whether the focus of the Programme continued to be relevant; whether the delivery arrangements in place (relating to governance and sub-regional) were still the most appropriate; and if there were any emerging lessons to learn/areas of best practice to consider for future delivery.
Under the rules governing Programme implementation, details of all direct beneficiaries of European Cohesion policy must be published. The latest list of approved beneficiaries under the 2007-2013 East Midlands ERDF Competitiveness Programme can be found at the bottom of this page.
This Strategy provides the overall framework for the monitoring and evaluation activities to be undertaken during the life of the Programme.
This document sits below the Operational Programme and provides further detail on proposed programme activities, timescales and delivery mechanisms.
It is an European Commission regulatory requirement that an Annual Implementation Report be produced to provide a clear overview of the implementation of the Operational Programme. The 2007, 2008 and 2009 reports have been endorsed by the European Commission and are available to view below.
It is an EU regulatory requirement that each ERDF programme has a Publicity and Communications Strategy. This document sets out the proposed publicity and communications activity for the 2007-2013 ERDF Competitiveness Programme in the East Midlands, and has been approved by the Local Management Committee.
Technical Assistance accounts for 4 per cent of the programme's financial allocation. This strategy (see top right) outlines how this funding will be spent and managed throughout the lifetime of the programme. The strategy has been approved by the Programme Monitoring Committee.
