From the 1st April 2012, the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) adopted a standardised approach to the management and delivery of the European Regional Development Fund Programmes across England. This includes the introduction of a new suite of documentation - including forms and guidance - which projects awarded funding after 1st April 2012 will need to use and follow.
In this section of the website you will find a range of documents which relate to the management and delivery of ERDF supported projects and also details of State Aid schemes running in England.
In addition, a National ERDF Handbook has been developed which provides an overview to the ERDF Programme and project lifecycle, and also information and guidance for applicants, grant recipients and DCLG on how to apply for ERDF funding and develop and manage compliant supported projects. This needs to be used in conjunction with the detailed rules and regulations against which projects are audited.
Access to the past ERDF User Manual can also be found in this section through the National ERDF Handbook page.
All documents are accessible through the sections below.
